Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Cooking directions
- Preheat oven to 375 °F. Line a baling sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, Beat the butter, the brown sugar, the granulated sugar, the egg and the vanilla until texture is light and fluffy.
- Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, folding the mixture until it is smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly combined.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop dough onto a baking sheet leaving 2 inches between cookies. Bake 10 to 13 minutes.
- Allow to cool 10 minuted before serving.
