Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Cooking directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 °F. Line a baling sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, Beat the butter, the brown sugar, the granulated sugar, the egg and the vanilla until texture is light and fluffy.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, folding the mixture until it is smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly combined.
  • Using a tablespoon, scoop dough onto a baking sheet leaving 2 inches between cookies. Bake 10 to 13 minutes.
  • Allow to cool 10 minuted before serving.
