Blue Cheese Stuffed Figs Wrapped in Prosciutto

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh Greek figs (green or black)
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, cut into cubes
  • 12 pieces of prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Cooking Directions

  • Preheat grill or barbecue on high heat. 
  • Cut the figs in half.
  • Place a piece of blue cheese on each fig half.
  • Wrap the prosciutto around each fig half. 
  • Place the figs on the grill and grill for 2 minutes until crisp.
  • Remove from grill, lightly drizzle with honey.
  • Serve warm.
