- 6 apples (peeled, cored and cut in cubes)
- 100 ml water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Mash with a potato masher or culinary robot until desired consistency.
- May be preserved in refrigerator for 1 week or in freezer for 6 months.
