Warm Lentil Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • 1 can organic Ilios lentils
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Cooking directions

  • Heat a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a large saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Add in onions and stir occasionally for about 5 minutes.
  • Then add in the peppers and lentils. Continue to cook for about 3 minutes.
  • Add in garlic powder, salt, pepper and chili flakes. Stir and enjoy!
