Walnut Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 can (540ml) chick peas, drained and rinced
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 3/4 cup walnuts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
Cooking directions
- Combine walnuts, garlic and olive oil in a food blender until smooth.
- Add chick peas, tahini, lemon juice, salt, pepper and half the water and blend. Keep adding water until mixture attains a smooth consistency.
- Taste and adjust if necessary by adding more salt or lemon juice.
