BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients
- 1 kg (2.2 lbs) boneless pork shoulder
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (+ extra for serving)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 brioche slider buns
Coleslaw
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt
Cooking Directions
- Season the pork:
- Mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
- Rub generously over the entire pork surface.
- Slow cook:
- Place pork in the slow cooker.
- Pour BBQ sauce and chicken broth over top.
- Cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4 hours) until meat shreds easily.
- Shred the pork:
- Remove pork and shred with two forks.
- Return to the cooking juices and mix well.
- Make the coleslaw:
- Toss shredded cabbage with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar and salt.
- Refrigerate.
- Build the sliders:
- Top each brioche bun with pulled pork, a drizzle of BBQ sauce and a spoonful of coleslaw.
