Lentil and Chicken Soup

Ingredients
- ½ Onion
- ½ Boneless Chicken Breast
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 cup Green Lentils
- 2 Celery Stalks
- 2 Carrots
- 2 Tsps Thyme
- 1 ½ cups Water
- 1 Litre Chicken Broth
- 1 cube Chicken Bouillon
- 1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
Cooking directions
- Boil the chicken breast until it is cooked through.
- Rinse the lentils.
- Dice the onion, celery, carrots and garlic and shred the now boiled chicken breast.
- Mix all ingredients together in a soup pot and place over heat.
- Bring it to a boil.
- Reduce heat and cover. Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
